There are questions that are often asked when we talk about Inesis. Maybe you have wanted to ask these questions yourselves. We have decided to be as transparent as possible with you. Jean-Lin Puren, Inesis Brand Director responds, with no nonsense.
Following the release of the beginner clubs in 2019 and intermediate clubs in 2020, the development of the advanced 900 clubs (handicap <15) has been the main focus of the design team’s work this year. Despite COVID-19, we have managed to stay on track for the release of the wedges and irons for the start of 2021, and the woods at the end of 2021.
We have decided to communicate very early on and in a more transparent manner on this matter to reveal all the design work that we’re doing.

You’re right, the current range of putters needed updating for more consistency and coherence. The new ones will therefore be here at the start of 2021, with three new models across two families. For golfers who prefer straight putting: 1 “Face Balanced” putter (Mallet), and for those who prefer arc putting: 2 “Toe Hang” putters (half-moon and fat blade). And again two sizes, available in right/left-handed so that everyone can find the putter that matches their size and posture.

This is a recurring question that I fully understand. As our resources are limited, I’ve always wanted to prioritise design, and engineering excellent, high-quality and standout products to enhance the image of our brand.
Our business model is to offer products that offer an unbeatable combination of quality, aesthetics and price. For these prices to be possible, we have a communication budgeted limited to a strict minimum. We don’t want to make golfers pay for things that don’t have a positive impact on their game. Did you know that Nike spends $20 million each year to sponsor Rory or Tiger?
We therefore need levers that are capable of extending the reach of our messages. We therefore rely on English-speaking influencers who have large communities of golfers and who are capable of having an enormous positive impact on our image and sales at very little cost (the time spent developing the contacts and the price of the material we send to be tested).
Here are some examples of content created by influencers in 2020:
In 2020, we set up a monthly Inesis newsletter for everyone who indicated they were passionate about golf. The aim of this newsletter is to keep you up-to-date with the brand's day-to-day work. To show you how we design a product, to tell you about the achievements of our image partner Félix Mory, and how Inesis is developing in the golfing world in general.
Yes, we have never stopped offering the best OIBs (Other International Brands): TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, Footjoy, Adidas. We think it is our job to offer the best selection in the world, including the top-selling OIBs alongside our own INESIS products. For example, as a result of your feedback, we have decided to reintroduce the Wilson kit on the web in the beginners' segment. At the moment, we offer the Well Putt (No.1 in the world for putting training solutions).
I understand this recurring question but it is not our business model nor our philosophy. We invest our money in making high-quality and attractive products that make golf easier for beginner, intermediate and advanced players, not in spending $20 million on a cap for Rory or Tiger! I prefer investing our money in engineering and design, so that you can one day take pride in wearing Inesis products! (I hope that the new products in 2019 and 2020 have convinced you that this budget decision helps to ensure product excellence.) May I take this opportunity to tell you that we have a contract with Félix Mory, pro golfer on the Challenge Tour: It is an image partnership.
That's a good question! We have no plans for an electric trolley in the next three years. It would demand high investment and involve potentially serious quality risks, compared with other product developments that take higher priority in our eyes. For this type of product, we would prefer to team up with the best OIBs over the next three years.
Finally, I hope from the bottom of my heart that I have answered your questions with helpful explanations. There are, of course, other matters that have been worked on in 2020, I invite you to read or reread our design stories: https://inesis.exposure.co
More than ever, I am confident in our Inesis products, in you, and in the design teams, for the sake of easier golf. Over the last few months, Inesis has positively made its mark in the golfing world!
