The M.O.I. or "Moment of inertia" is an indicator of a putter's forgiveness. With a high moment of inertia, the putter stays in line as you make pendulum motion.Giving you the impression of smoothly being on course to holing the putt. The putter face also remains stable at ball impact, even when mishit. It lets you release the ball straighter with better distance control.
We've conceived a steel launchpad on which a maximum amount of weight is transferred away from the club face towards the putter's perimeter (zones in blue). It is this weight distribution that allows us to generate a high M.O.I. You will notice that both weights are not symmetrical. It is smaller at the bottom because the hosel weight has to be integrated, evenly distributing the weight 50/50 between both halves of the head. You subsequently obtain a perfect balance.
Mounted on KBS double bend quality shaft, the High M.O.I. putter is "Face Balanced" (see "Choosing your putter" section below).
We've covered the 304 stainless steel body with an ultralight hood. It is milled from an aluminium block for 4 hours with a CNC milling machine with 8 end mills.
We decided to develop an insert on the new putters. It helps to provide the very best in feel and sound.Technically speaking, the putter's body is hollowed out and perforated, then we insert a semi-rigid TPU piece followed by a metallic insert. And then it is entirely adjusted to the nearest tenth of a millimetre. The grooves on the steel face are machined in a semi-circle for a better ball roll.
"I drew inspiration from the world of car design. The High M.O.I. putter is compact, completely in keeping with the other putters in the Inesis range. I exploit the large area on top of the putter to offer a simple and incredibly effective alignment aid. We put loving attention to the finishing touches to end up with a beautiful looking object. It's the product I'm the proudest of!"
Thomas, golf club designer
The large surface area above the High M.O.I. putter allowed us to design a highly effective alignment aid. We tested quite a few options. This is the one that got the most votes, as much for appearance as its effectiveness.
70% of golfers use the sight line with the ball. The long white sight line is exactly the same thickness as the one found on Inesis balls. The wide black band provides a maximum contrast with the white line, remaining sufficiently discreet and elegant.
The finishing touches found on the High M.O.I. putter are the same as those that make the Inesis clubs popular. Stainless steel satin finish body, nickel-chromium plated touches combined with a hood milled from an aluminium block, anodized in a slightly different grey to underline the difference in material, all while being perfectly blending in. Product excellence is about the materials inherent qualities and the quality of the finishing touches.
This 100% rubber grip was designed for maximum comfort. Like all putter heads, the design had to be "Athletic & Elegant". We combined two textures for added comfort and durability. The upper part is smooth, apart from the thumb placement area. The lower part is machined for more grip.
The navy blue and black are traditional colours designed to go with a maximum number of bits of gear in your bag.
On the size 1 (33 inches) putters, the cover is light grey. On size 2 (34 inches), it is dark grey so that you can identify the putter size at a glance.
We chose a “pistol” shape to optimise hand position on the grip.
Studies show that with a “Pistol” style grip, the chances of putting the ball into the hole are higher. Why go without?
We wanted a nice cover, equal to the High M.O.I. putter's quality. Specifically designed for the High M.O.I putter, perfectly suited to its size. The woolly lining is very soft, providing provide maximum protection for materials and finishes. The exterior embroidered imitation leather echoes the alignment aid, and gives it a small premium side to it. Added extra The magnetic fastening lets you attach the cover to the irons in your bag when putting. It would be a shame to lose or get it dirty!

We designed this range to help you choose the right putter. We questioned over 100 golfers. What transpires is that three quarters of them told us they found it complicated choosing a putter. So we developed up with a quick, simple and effective method for choosing.
Height is the first factor to take into consideration when choosing the right putter for you. We analysed your arms, and we found that people can be short in height with long arms and tall with short arms. And be the same height but need different length putters. It is the distance between the ground and your hands which determines the length of your putter. We identified 2 putter lengths (33 and 34 inches) that meet the needs of 90% of golfers.
The right-sized putter is essential because it means that the head will be nice and flat in front of the ball for improved distance and directional control.
You’ve got the putter matching your height. That bit is done. When you position yourself in front of the ball, you will stand more or less close to the ball. It’s barely noticeable, a mere 2 or 3 cm at most. In fact, you’ll try to align your eye with the ball to aim correctly. But our brain plays tricks on us and the dominant eye may not necessarily be strictly vertical over the ball.
If your dominant eye is perfectly aligned with the ball, your putting swing will be atomically aligned.
If your dominant eye is focussed between your feet and the ball, you will automatically putt in an arc.
Putter balance is the orientation of the club face when it is balanced on its shaft.
If the face is perfectly horizontal, the putter is "Face-balanced". It is naturally more perpendicular to the putting line and therefore corresponds with the aligned putting movement.
If the face points towards the ground at a 30° angle to the horizontal, the putter is "Toe hang 30°". This type of balancing is suitable for players who putt in an arc.
