The very best advanced club is the forged blade. With its sleek, elegant design and unbeatable feel. This is what we have selected for our short irons to give you maximum sensation and feedback at each green. But the blade becomes harder to play with the medium irons, and an outright challenge with the long irons. So, from the 7-iron, we’ve opted for a “hollow” head. We maintain the aesthetic purity of the blade but this technology allows us to work with weight distribution until we achieve a good compromise between control, power and forgiveness. And on the 3-irons and 4-irons, where the aim is a powerful and accurate first stroke or a distant green, we have designed “utilities” to give you more distance and forgiveness. A series composed of blades, hollow body irons and utilities. This is what we call a “COMBO” and is the best combination that we can offer you so that you can score. The best of all worlds.
We have designed these clubs for your, the advanced players. You, the players who play at 15-under. Your priority is to score. You know that what counts is hitting the greens in regulation, having a solid game and putting well.
But what you love even more than this is successfully achieving the shot as you imagined it.
And this means that as far as your clubs are concerned you are looking for CONTROL.
In 2008 we launched the TD TOUR 900 which were unique in the golfing landscape. Blades, forged with a black finish for a very specific player: Thomas Levet, French no.1 at the time and still the greatest winner representing the French flag. This black finish became our signature for several years. And today it’s our heritage.
In 2019 we launched our 500 Clubs for intermediate players. These are our new launch irons. We wanted them to have timeless, understated appeal. To achieve this, we used a nickel-chrome finish for a traditional, durable satin effect.
The design of the 900 irons combines the best features of Inesis’ style with those of an advanced golf club. Each line of the 900 irons has a specific function. Every aspect of the club head’s design is necessary, and nothing is superfluous. The result renders a classic, immaculate, timeless club.
An advanced club is also a matter of appearance and confidence. We have therefore gradually minimised the offset. It is almost absent from the short irons, whereas it can be found on the long irons without ever being obtrusive.
The same principle has been applied to the top line. A very fine top line has been marked onto the short irons. You can be sure to be holding a precision club so you can play the ball exactly as you imagined.
On the long irons, we have widened the topline only as much as necessary to give you confidence on address with your 3-iron or your 4-iron.
The wedges, the pitching wedge, the 9 iron and the 8 iron are all blades that are forged in 1025 steel. This mild steel offers an unbeatable feel and is carbon-enriched to enhance its mechanical properties.
From the 7-iron to the 3-iron, we have kept the forged 455 steel face to maintain superb impact. And here a moulded hollow clubhead made from 17-4PH steel has been chosen to provide the forgiveness and power of hollow technology.
Perfect grooves are needed to obtain the best possible control. We haven’t made any compromises here. We have opted for CNC machining. The club face arrives smooth and plain and a digitally controlled cutter sculpts grooves exactly as they have been designed.
The grooves on the 900 irons are in a "V". This is an architecture that makes it possible to generate a moderate spin on long irons for greater distance. And higher spin on the short irons to stop the ball very quickly when on the green.
Hours of testing have enabled us to calibrate the lofts of the 900 irons. This ensured that, regardless of the technology used, there are perfectly regular distance intervals between each club.
We have chosen to laser-engrave the loft onto each clubhead. This means you know exactly what you're playing with.
We have selected the very best shafts of the moment: UST Mamiya Recoil in graphite, NS PRO for the steel. But not by chance. Our choice was guided by test results.
on the LOW SPEED irons (swing speed < 70 mph for the 7-iron), from the PW to the 3-Iron.
There are no LOW SPEED wedges.
on the MID SPEED irons and wedges (swing speed between 70 and 82 mph for the 7-iron).
on the HIGH SPEED irons and HIGH SPEED wedges (swing speed > 82 mph for the 7-iron).
The 900 series will be on sale, from the 5-iron to the PW, in 2 sizes, 3 swing speeds, and both right- and left-hand models, at the set price of €690.
The 3- and 4-irons will be on sale at a price of €140 per club.
Wedges will be priced at €100 per unit.
This is often two times cheaper than others, for the same quality.
The 900 series is assembled in Lille, in France, in the b'Twin Village AML factory. We used to assemble bikes there, especially premium Van Rysel road bikes. Now, in addition, highly skills technicians build golf clubs on an assembly line specifically created for the 900 series.
"A series that is both accurate and forgiving!” Adrien Devillers (index -1)
"Overall really great! Congratulations. I find these clubs pleasant to play with, both visually and in terms of feedback." Felix Mory (PRO_Best index -3.7)
"I would definitely recommend them to a player looking for accurate irons that are pleasant to play with, provide great feedback and are forgiving." Baptiste Mory (Index -2.3)
“The 900 irons live up to the Inesis promise of, “Make golf easier”. Well done.” Franck Pilet (Index 4.7)
The 900 set is to be supplemented with the 900 wedges. They are the perfect continuation of the 44° 900 pitching wedge. You have the choice between 4 900 wedges: 48°, 52°, 56° and 58° to get the set-up that best suits you.
We have focussed our work on the grooves. They are machined in an "M” shape, it is this architecture that gives the best rate of backspin in favour of control.
The 900 wedges are manufactured in 8620 steel. It is a material that contains a high percentage of carbon for a softer impact.
Two 900 Utilities (3-iron 19° and 4-iron 22°) complete the 900 series. They have been designed using “hollow body” technology, which allows them to offer ideal mass distribution, benefiting both power and tolerance.
The design of the club heads is perfectly in line with the series’ irons.
