In the previous chapter, we looked at how we transition from the 2D plan produced by our designer Charles to a 3D file. This file is what we send to our teams in the factory. Our project engineer Pauline explains the steps required to produce the 900 irons.
Once the head has been finished, the final step is to assemble the club with its grip, shaft and ferrule. This is all carried out in accordance with the specifications (in particular swing weight) drawn up for the 900 irons and the six possible combinations: size 1 or 2, and low-speed, medium-speed or high-speed shaft.
We'll show you that at the AML assembly workshop in Lille, France in the next episode.
