-Carry bags
-Trolley bags
The names say it all, as carry bags are designed to be carried even if you can rest them on a trolley.
However, trolley bags are not designed to be carried.
1 Weight and handling:
A carry bag shouldn't weigh more than 3kg.
If you have any back problems, a trolley bag is advisable. Remember that a full set of clubs and accessories can add around 10kg to the total weight.
Generally, a bigger investment when you buy a bag will mean it lasts longer over time.
When you choose a bag, think about the size of your car boot. A carry bag will take up less space.
Check the shoulder strap, how many grab handles there are, and how easy the bag is to pick up and handle.
2 Access to irons and accessories:
It's important to look at how many club compartments there are, and whether there is a specific divider for your putter. If the divided compartments go all the way down to the bottom of the bag, this means more protection for your clubs.
The number of pockets and features (such as an insulating pocket) give a good idea of product quality.
3. Bag composition
One final criteria is the bag composition and assembly: leather or canvas, strengthened or over-stitching, availability of a rain cover or a full protective cover.
